Our Kalihari Red breeding stock is dual registered American Boer Goat Association (ABGA) and United States-South African Boer Goat Breeders Alliance (US-SABGBA). 

The offspring from a pair of registered Kalihari Red parents must be inspected by SA judges before they can be registered as Kalihari Red.  Registration as Kalihari Red in the SA herd book, requires inspection with rigid standards by a certified South African judge.  They are judging for South African Kalihari Red breed standard of the 'red goat'.  If the standards are met, that goat is registered as "Stud" or "Flock" in the SA herd book.  The SA judge generally comes to the United States around October each year.  Currently, inspections have been held in Texas, Idaho and Indiana.
